Cancellations and Returns

48 Hour Risk Free Cancellation Policy for Online Orders

If you cannot find that specific item for your home in one of our retail stores, we invite you to shop our website featuring thousands of items from our top manufacturing partners with the confidence of our 48-Hour Risk Free Cancellation Policy. If you change your mind for any reason within 48 hours after making your online purchase, feel free to contact us to cancel your order, and you will receive a full refund. If you need to cancel your order after 48 hours, you will receive a store credit less a 10% cancellation fee.

Regularly Stocked Items

Cancellations of regularly stocked merchandise are allowed before the date of delivery or pick up, and you will receive a full refund. If for some reason you are not satisfied with your purchase and have had possession for 3 days or less, just let us know and you will receive merchandise refund less a 25% restocking fee. If the furniture was delivered, the delivery charge cannot be refunded. We can come pick up the merchandise for an additional delivery charge. If you picked up the furniture, simply bring it back to the location where you picked it up. Furniture that has been in your possession for over 3 days is considered “used” and cannot be returned.

Special Ordered Items

Special ordered items are items that are customized or not regularly stocked. This will be denoted on your invoice. All special ordered items require a minimum 25% deposit. These items can be canceled up until the time the items have been ordered from the manufacturer. Once these items have been ordered, they cannot be canceled. Special ordered items cannot be returned for any reason.

Mattresses and Foundations

Once a mattress or foundation is removed from its original packaging, it can no longer be exchanged or returned. We encourage you to thoroughly try out our mattresses in store before purchasing.

Clearance and other “As-is” Items

All clearance and other “as-is” sales are final. These items cannot be returned once they have been delivered or picked up for any reason.

Condition of Returned Merchandise

All returned merchandise must come back to us in new condition to be eligible for a refund.

Refunds

If you financed your purchase, we will credit your finance account. If you paid with cash, we will provide you with a check for the refund. If you paid by credit or debit card, we will credit your credit or debit card. Please allow 3 - 5 business days for the refund to reflect back in your account.

Reserving & Holding of Merchandise

You can reserve and hold any in-stock merchandise with a minimum 25% deposit. This guarantees the availability of your furniture and locks in the price. Cancel any time within 90 days and receive a full refund of your deposit. If you cancel beyond 90 days, your deposit will be converted to store credit.

Regular in-stock merchandise will be reserved for you up to 90 days before the delivery or pick-up date. If for some reason, you cannot take possession of merchandise within 90 days of purchase, the items will no longer be reserved for your order. After 180 days, order will be canceled and all monies for said order shall be forfeited to Michael’s Home, unless previous arrangements are made in writing. All clearance merchandise sales are final and customer must take possession of merchandise within 7 days. After 7 days, the merchandise will be returned to stock and customer will receive a store credit.
